This Privacy Policy describes how Infinity Marketing (sole proprietorship), owner and operator of the brand Darlingg and the website darlingg.com (the "Site") — referred to as "Darlingg", "we", "us", "our" — collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our Site, make a purchase, or interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.

• Order information — name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and payment confirmation details when you place an order

• Account information — email and login details if you create an account

• Contact information — name, email, phone, and message content when you use our contact form or email us

• Warranty information — Order ID and contact details when you register a Breeze Fan warranty

• Marketing preferences — your email when you subscribe to our newsletter

Information collected automatically:

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, time spent, referral source, and interactions with the Site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

What we do NOT collect: We never see or store your full card details, UPI PIN, or banking passwords. Payments are processed entirely by our payment partner on their secure systems.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process, fulfil, ship, and deliver your orders (including sharing delivery details with our logistics partner, Shadowfax)

• Send transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping updates, delivery OTPs, and refund notifications

• Provide customer support and handle returns, replacements, and warranty claims

• Send marketing communications (such as new drops and our monthly 11:11 event) only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email

• Improve our Site, products, and shopping experience

• Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

3. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run our store:

• Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Site and processes orders

• Razorpay — our payment gateway, which processes your payments securely on PCI-DSS-compliant systems

• Shadowfax — our logistics partner, which receives your name, address, and phone number to deliver orders and perform reverse pickups

• Email service providers (such as Klaviyo / Shopify Email) — to send the transactional and marketing messages described above

• Analytics and advertising partners — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site, and Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms; these tools collect usage data via cookies as described in Section 6

• Government or law enforcement authorities, where required by applicable law

Each partner is bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.

4. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

• Erase your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations

• Withdraw consent to marketing at any time

• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 9)

• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity

5. Data Retention

We retain order and transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically 8 years under Indian tax and accounting law). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are retained as long as needed to resolve your query.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, analyse traffic (Google Analytics), and measure advertising (Meta Pixel). Essential cookies are required for the Site to function; you can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including SSL encryption across the Site and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing via Razorpay. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we protect your data using reasonable security practices as required under Indian law.

8. Children

Our Site is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
